On Sunday evening, a fire broke out in Samsung Electronics' warehouse in Beilan Province, Thailand, causing a large number of goods to be damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties. It is reported that the local police suspected that the short circuit might be the cause of the fire. The security guards guarding the Samsung warehouse tried to control the fire with chemical fire extinguishers, but the plan failed.

The local government received the fire alarm at about 11:00 p.m. and the administrative department of Beilan Fuwan Pi county sent 20 fire trucks to the accident site. It took firefighters about an hour to control the fire. The fire broke out behind the warehouse and spread to the interior of the building.

The report pointed out that Samsung Electronics had stored a large number of electrical appliances in the warehouse, but the company had not estimated the loss.

This is not the first time that Samsung has had a fire in recent years. In 2017, a fire broke out in Samsung SDI Tianjin factory. In 2020, fires broke out in Samsung's chip manufacturing plant and asan display Park in Huacheng, South Korea.
