Heruo railway is a national key railway project, with a total length of 825.476 kilometers, a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour and a total of 20 stations. Recently, nine new passenger stations have been successfully completed along the whole line of Heruo railway. According to China Railway news , nine new passenger stations are Luopu, Cele, Yuquan Town, Yutian, Minfeng, Nantun, Jinshan, Qiemo and washixia. They are constructed according to the design concept of "one stop, one scene", fully refining the design elements with regional characteristics, and showing the strong local cultural heritage.
The construction of Heruo railway was officially started at the end of 2018. The whole line was laid and connected in September 2021, passed the dynamic acceptance in March 2022, and is expected to be put into operation in June this year.
Taklimakan desert is the second largest mobile desert in the world, known as the "sea of death" Heruo railway is located at the southern edge of the desert and forms a railway closed loop around the Taklimakan Desert together with the existing geku railway, khahe railway and southern Xinjiang Railway
After the Heruo railway is put into operation, it will end the history of no trains in Luopu, Cele, Yutian, Minfeng, Qiemo counties and many regiments and towns of Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, which is of great significance to promote the economic and social development of Southern Xinjiang and further promote the revitalization of rural areas.

Luopu railway station
Luopu station is inspired by "the birthplace of adelais silk". The doors and windows are interspersed with suspended "silk", which reflects the light and colorful characteristics of silk and the solemn atmosphere of the station.
Cele railway station
Cele station takes "ancient country on the Silk Road" as the creative inspiration, and expresses the ancient charm of Han and Tang culture on the Silk Road through the modeling of four surrounding pagodas.
Yuquan Town Railway Station
Yuquan Town station draws lessons from the bright cultural flag, which symbolizes that the Heruo railway line has inherited the red culture.
Yutian railway station
With the theme of "ancient Silk Road country", Yutian station is decorated with typical patterns of the Han Dynasty to set off the architectural characteristics.
Minfeng railway station
Minfeng station takes "five stars go out of the East and benefit China" as the theme, implying the prosperity of Chinese civilization.
Nantun railway station
The theme of Nantun station is "garrison the South and guard the border", which reflects the beautiful vision of being an important town of "eye of Kunlun".
Jinshan railway station
Jinshan station takes "guarding the border" as the theme, which fully shows that the people of the Corps faithfully fulfill the glorious mission of cultivating and guarding the border.
Qiemo station
Qiemo station extracts the elements of the memorial building of Hedong desertification prevention and control ecological project, combined with the architectural elements of the city wall, showing the spirit of Qiemo people's indomitable oath to fight against sandstorm.
Washixia railway station
Washixia station is designed based on the historical and cultural heritage of the century old Beijing Zhangjiakou Railway, and adopts the historical elements of Qinglongqiao railway station of Beijing Zhangjiakou Railway, which shows that the construction of Heruo railway is the continuation of China's century old railway culture.
