Fixed broadband has been upgraded from 100m to Gigabit, and the proportion of optical fiber users has increased from less than 10% in 2012 to 94.3% in 2021.
Zhang Yunming said that China has continuously organized and implemented seven batches of pilot work on universal telecommunications services, supported the construction of optical fiber networks in 130000 administrative villages and 60000 rural 4G base stations, promoted the proportion of broadband in administrative villages from less than 70% to 100%, and historically solved the problem of communication difficulties in poor areas.
At present, 5g applications cover many life fields such as transportation, medical treatment, education, culture and tourism, with a total of more than 20000 cases. The industrial Internet has been applied to 45 major categories of national economy, covering R & D and design, production and manufacturing, marketing services and other links, and the industrial scale has exceeded the trillion yuan mark.
