At 18:30 on May 20, at China's Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, the Long March 2C carrier rocket / expedition 1 s upper stage launched three low orbit communication test satellites into the predetermined orbit in the form of "one arrow and three stars", and the launch mission was a complete success. China Aerospace Science and Technology Co., Ltd. carried out the test of five low orbit communication satellites, one of which was mainly used for the launch test of China Aerospace Science and Technology Co., Ltd.


Chang'er-c rocket is a normal temperature liquid launch vehicle developed by the first Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It mainly performs the launch tasks of solar synchronous orbit and other low orbit satellites. It has the ability to launch one satellite with one arrow and multiple satellites with one arrow.

This mission is the fourth launch of the upper stage of expedition-1 S. the previous three launches were on October 9, 2018, August 24, 2021 and November 3, 2021 respectively.

This launch is the 421st launch of long march series launch vehicles.
