Just over a week before the start of WWDC, interesting trademark application details of "realityos" reappeared on the Internet. This is the name of Apple's upcoming ar/vr head display operating system, which provides clues for Apple's potential new product information at this year's conference. The two separate trademark applications were re - emerged on twitter by Parker ottolani.

He pointed out that although these two applications were originally submitted on December 8, 2021, it is more interesting that they are both listed as foreign applications. The deadline is June 8, 2022, right in Apple Two days after the main WWDC keynote speech. The deadline for foreign applications listed in another document on the website of the United States Patent and Trademark Office is june9,2022.

These documents themselves do not indicate or mark as apple trademarks, but there are several hints that Cupertino technology giant owns these trademarks. These applications were made under the name of a company called "realityo Systems LLC". As Parker pointed out, the company used the same address as apple used before the release of the California version of MacOS in the past few years.

ROS is the abbreviation of realityos. It was first reported by Bloomberg in 2017. Its internal code is "oak". According to Bloomberg, realityos will first run on a high-end and niche ar/vr head display. Apple plans to announce this hardware product this year or early next year. On the other hand, apple recently showed its hybrid reality head display to its board of directors, suggesting that the product is nearing completion.

According to the previously disclosed information, it will be equipped with two 4K micro OLED displays, 15 camera modules, a powerful Apple silicon processor equivalent to M-series chips, eye tracking, gesture, spatial audio and other function support, and the price is expected to be about 3000 US dollars.

There are not many rumors about whether Apple plans to announce VR hardware on this year's WWDC, but the date of the trademark application suggests that Apple may share more about its vision for the future of ar/vr.
