It is expected to be put into operation in 2024, mainly producing semiconductor products in 5g, high-performance calculators, artificial intelligence and other cutting-edge technology fields. However, this plant is not the first one built by Samsung Electronics in Texas. As early as the last century, Samsung Electronics established a chip factory in Austin. At present, the factory mainly produces chip products with 14nm process.
