It is understood that in order to further enhance the protection of minors, Tiktok has upgraded the cruise and interception mechanism to prevent minors' live consumption. If the system detects that the consumption account is suspected of being a minor, it will immediately pop up the account and require real name authentication. After the user refuses to authenticate or is authenticated as a minor, the consumption will be blocked by the system, and the account cannot be recharged in Tiktok.

The relevant person in charge of Tiktok live broadcast said that the mechanism had been launched as early as may 2020. Through continuous iteration and upgrading, the legitimate rights and interests of minors were protected. At present, the system intercepts more than 120000 suspected minor user consumption accounts every day.

In addition, for the reward of minors who have already appeared, Tiktok live broadcast has opened a customer service hotline for 24 hours a day. Once verified, it will be unconditionally refunded. Tiktok live also continued to carry out the "special governance action for youth protection", with zero tolerance for anchors who induce minors to reward.
