Recently, two websites that issued fake certificates under the guise of "professional qualification" for profit were investigated, punished and shut down.

In March this year, the Ministry of human resources and social security and the central Internet Information Office issued the notice on carrying out the special treatment of "Shanzhai certificates" of technical skills to carry out network governance of "Shanzhai certificates" of technical skills. The scope and content of governance include: illegal use of relevant words and signs, false or exaggerated publicity, illegal training, illegal charging, intentional confusion of concepts, misleading speculation and suspected fraud.

The 2021 edition of the catalogue of national vocational qualifications contains a total of 72 vocational qualifications, including 59 professional and technical personnel (33 in the admittance category, 26 in the level evaluation category) and 13 skilled personnel. The occupational qualifications in the catalogue have all specified the implementing departments or units, and the certificates can be inquired through the China personnel examination website or the official website of relevant industry competent departments. No institution or unit may establish and implement vocational qualifications on its own.
