The Razer blade family has welcomed a new member, a new blade 15 equipped with a QHD OLED 240Hz screen Like other members of the blade family, the new blade 15 will use CNC milled aluminum chassis and laser cut speaker grille. Buyers will also receive a wide range of connectivity options, including thunderbolt 4, usb-c, usb-a and an HDMI port. Of course, the most attractive thing is the OLED display.
The new blade 15 will be equipped with the 12th generation Intel Core i9-12900h processor, which is a 14 core chip with 20 threads. It will work with 32GB ddr5 memory, 1TB PCIe SSD and up to NVIDIA geforce 3070 Ti notebook GPU. There is also an additional m.2 PCIe slot for further storage expansion, an SD card reader and RGB lighting for each key.
Thunder snake said that the brightness of the panel will reach 400 nits, with a response time of 1 millisecond, and will cover 100% of the dci-p3 color space. The brightness may be a little low for some people, especially if you usually work or play in a well lit environment.
OLED Lingren 15 will be on sale as early as October this year. Thunder snake didn't say why it took so long to launch the new model, but it may be related to the ongoing shortage of components, or they want to better position it to promote it during the holiday. It's not cheap either, starting at $3499.99 directly from thunder snake and authorized retailers.
