Sleepwalking is the bizarre phenomenon of getting out of bed and moving on your own during sleep, and then returning to bed to resume sleep, and is a neurological sleep disorder that generally consists of walking around the dwelling in a semi-awake state, sometimes leaving it, or acting in dangerous ways.

The strange thing about sleepwalking is that the person can engage in very complex activities in action, will open doors to the street, fetch utensils or avoid obstacles without colliding and injuring themselves, and then generally return to bed on their own after the activity is over and go back to sleep.

Sleepwalking occurs in adults and is most often associated with suffering from schizophrenia and neurosis.
