Apple said that its update to improve the webcam problem of studio display will be released separately from MacOS. The main criticism of studio display was its webcam, and apple promised an update to improve the problem. This updated beta does improve the situation, but it has not reached the level of complete repair users want.
Nevertheless, in testing, the beta patch proved to improve skin color, for example, resulting in less image noise. During the FaceTime call, the central stage function is no longer so close to a face.
With apple now releasing the first candidate version of MacOS 12.4 to developers, it also announced that the studio display update will be carried out separately.
"Support studio display firmware update 15.5, which can be used as a separate update to improve camera adjustment, including improved noise reduction, contrast and viewfinder," Apple said
This means that this fix and any further fixes that may be made will be downloadable by the user rather than requiring a full Mac OS update.
