According to new atlas reports, the highly anticipated British company Heatherwick studio created a large tree covered sculpture for the 70th anniversary of the Queen's "platinum Jubilee" accession to the throne** There are 350 small trees in this art installation. They are arranged in the shape of a big tree.

The project is named "tree of trees", with a height of 21 meters (nearly 70 feet - probably a tribute to the Queen's 70 years in office), and is located in front of Buckingham Palace, the famous official residence of the British monarch in London.

It includes an engraved frame made of sustainably sourced wood and hidden steel supports, most of which are made of recycled steel. Aluminum pots stamped with the Queen's logo were also used to actually place saplings. Towards completion, the schoolchildren placed the last of the 350 trees and helped add some LED lights, which the queen herself officially turned on at a special ceremony.

"Tree of trees" is part of a larger non-profit tree planting program called "the queen's green canopy ”, responsible for planting more than 1million new trees across the UK from October 2021 to March 2022. The sculpture has been under construction since April to ensure that it is ready for the Queen's platinum Jubilee Celebration, which was officially held from June 2 to 5. After the party, the whole sculpture will be demolished and the trees will be stored and donated to selected community groups, individuals and organizations for planting from October.

Thomas Heatherwick, head of Heatherwick studio, said: "This sculpture is like a lighthouse, sending out a simple and eternal message: trees are the superheroes in our town and are far more important to our lives than we realize. It was made by a team of welders, Arborists, designers and manufacturers from all over the country. All of us have played a role in this huge community activity. It is actually changing the landscape and proudly congratulating the queen To you. "

Many of Heatherwick studio's recent works revolve around trees, including a shopping center full of trees, skyscrapers covered with green plants and a lush park.
