The first season of Chang'an 12:00 was broadcast in 2019. It is an ancient costume suspense drama directed by Cao Dun and starring Lei Jiayin and Yiyang Qianxi. Adapted from Ma Boyong's novel of the same name, the play tells the story of Chang'an City in danger on the eve of Shangyuan festival in the Tang Dynasty. Zhang Xiaojing, a prisoner of death in Chang'an, was ordered to join hands with Li Bi to save Chang'an within 12 hours.
