In terms of NAND storage business, SK Hynix has made great efforts to acquire Intel's NAND flash memory business. In October, 2020, SK Hynix purchased Intel's NAND memory and storage business at a price of $9billion, and acquired the latter's NAND SSD business, NAND components, wafer business and NAND memory manufacturing plant in China.
Sk Hynix Semiconductor is also the top three DRAM manufacturers in the world. According to a latest research report, throughout 2021, Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix and micron technology accounted for 94.1% of the global DRAM market, of which the sales of DRAM products under SK Hynix reached US $26.6 billion, accounting for 27.7% of the market share.
According to the latest financial report released by SK Hynix, the company's revenue in the first quarter of this year was 12.16 trillion won (about 65.6 billion yuan), a year-on-year increase of 43%; The net profit reached 1.98 trillion won (about 107 yuan), up from 992.6 billion won in the same period last year, doubling year-on-year.
