In order to solve the problem of abnormal scenes, meituan takeout has launched a series of measures: first, reduce the possible abnormalities of orders, and provide "single time supplement + system correction" for the predicted and identified abnormal scenes, so as to make the delivery time of orders more reasonable; The second is to deal with the possible abnormalities of riders. Riders can manage their own order receiving rhythm by reassigning, transferring orders, and setting "simultaneous order receiving quantity" by themselves.
Riders need to shuttle between indoor and outdoor during delivery, and will encounter all kinds of abnormal scenes. Meituan takeout said that it was continuously improving the prediction ability of abnormal scenes and expanding on the basis of the number of more than 30 abnormal scenes last year, many of which came from riders.

The pilot results showed that the rider overtime rate decreased by up to 3%.

Meituan takeout has also been improving riders' safety awareness through cooperation between police and enterprises. Last year, meituan takeout cooperated with local traffic police to launch the "lighthouse plan", which focused on educating illegal riders through docking with the traffic police on the relevant data of riders, so as to accurately improve the safety awareness of riders.
