On May 25th, the electric bus company and the European leading electric bus company reached a joint report. Ningde times will provide Solaris bus products with lithium iron phosphate batteries using high efficiency group (CTP) technology, promote bus electrification and contribute to reducing carbon emissions and air pollution in Europe.

Solaris is a large bus manufacturer in Poland. Its bus products are supplied to bus operators all over the world. In March this year, Dortmund public transport operator Dortmund stadtwerke Ag and Solaris bus & amp; Coach signed an agreement to purchase 30 Urbino 18 electric buses and plans to replace the old diesel powered Solaris buses to reduce environmental pollution and noise.

Now various countries have put forward electrification plans one after another. Whether special vehicles or civilian vehicles, electrification transformation should be basically completed before 2030. Solaris, as the head of electric buses in the European market, must keep up with the pace of the times. Ningde era is the world's leading battery supplier, and the cooperation with Solaris is a strong alliance.

Unlike ternary lithium, lithium iron phosphate has more stable chemical properties and longer battery life, which is suitable for special vehicles such as buses that operate continuously outdoors for a long time. The energy density of lithium iron phosphate is not as good as that of ternary lithium, and the endurance under low temperature environment is reduced. However, now the battery thermal management technology of electric vehicles has been quite perfect, and the impact of low-temperature environment on endurance has been very small. In the long run, lithium iron phosphate battery is more competent for high-intensity work.

BYD's recent development momentum in public transport is also relatively fierce. Just a while ago, bus operators in Finland, Israel, Denmark, Germany and other countries signed large orders with BYD and purchased a large number of pure electric buses. BYD's and Solaris's bus products have a good reputation all over the world. With the blessing of Ningde era, the Solaris hard rigid BYD is not a problem.

In other words, the operation effect of electric bus has been verified by many bus operators, and more public transport companies will be attracted to introduce pure electric bus in the future. Solaris, as a major rival of BYD bus, has to work harder.
