Polestar Jixing Invests In Storedot, An Ultrafast Battery Technology Company

Polestar polar star announced its first financial investment in storedot, an Israeli ultrafast battery charging technology enterprise, in the name of the company. Polar star officials pointed out that storedot is to develop ultra fast rechargeable electric vehicle batteries with silicon as the main material. The company aims to produce electric vehicle batteries with a charge of 5 minutes and a endurance of 160 kilometers by 2024. Storedot's advanced battery technology is consistent with Jixing's strategy, that is, to jointly promote the development of the electric vehicle industry with a wider range of innovative industry partners.

It is reported that polar star is cooperating with storedot to explore and apply its technology to polar star's proof of concept vehicle. The test project includes storedot battery technology tailored for polar star automobile, so as to realize faster charging and higher recyclability.
