At yesterday's Tencent earnings conference call, Tencent responded to the fact that it did not obtain the first batch of game titles. In April, the first batch of game edition numbers in 2022 were released. On May 18, Ma Huateng, chairman of Tencent and Liu Chi, President of Tencent, held a financial report teleconference with senior executives of the company to interpret the key points of the financial report.

In terms of game version numbers, Tencent said that startups are faced with no cash flow, and for large-scale companies holding multiple games, the harm is not so great, so it is reasonable to send version numbers to startups first.

At present, the taste of players is also improving, and the quality requirements of game products are becoming higher and higher. Tencent said it would invest more resources in several larger game projects in the future.

Recently, Tencent released 2022 Q1 financial report, and the game revenue in the local market reached 33 billion yuan.
