Volvo confirmed on Tuesday that from 2023 models, Volvo will only sell electric vehicles in the United States "Electrification" means that in addition to electric vehicles, Volvo will continue to provide gasoline powered vehicles, but they will all use light hybrid or plug-in hybrid technology.

Some of Volvo's new light hybrid models adopt B4, B5 and B6 engine names according to different output. These vehicles all use 48V technology, which makes the start / stop operation of the engine smoother and increases the supplementary power, while slightly improving the overall fuel economy.

Volvo will also continue to provide plug-in hybrid systems. In fact, these T8 recharge models have recently achieved power improvement and increased the driving range of pure electric vehicles.
