It aims to promote the global transition from one-dimensional code to two-dimensional code by 2027, lead all fields to fully realize the reading and analysis of commodity QR codes, and achieve the interconnection of data and information among industries.

It is reported that the construction of the demonstration area will be carried out in stages. By the end of 2025, the commodity code of the food industry in Zhejiang Province will be transferred from one-dimensional code to two-dimensional code and used in the whole chain, so as to realize the storage and logistics, reading and settlement of two-dimensional code, and then gradually promote the application of two-dimensional code of commodity to other FMCG fields outside food.
