Let 57 kinds of equipment speak "Mandarin"
With the advancement of mine intellectualization, the investment and scientific research investment in informatization and intellectualization in the coal mining industry have increased rapidly. However, due to the lack of unified standards and unified architecture, there are certain repeated construction, and the industry has been unable to form a "game of chess" under fragmentation.
"After a year of cooperation with many parties, we found that the focus of intellectualization in the coal mining industry is to unify the architecture and platform first, rather than rush to plan many applications. Just like in the communication field, the sound architecture and standard system can lead to the healthy and rapid development of the industry." Guo Zhenxing told reporters.
In Huawei's view, the essence of intelligent mine is the transformation of industrial Internet architecture in the mining field. The key point lies in the unification of equipment interface and data format to solve the problem of "speaking Mandarin" between equipment, which is also the biggest challenge encountered by the intelligent construction of coal mine at present.
In recent years, with the advancement of intelligent mine construction, most underground equipment are equipped with sensors to replace miners' eyes, mouth, nose, ears and skin. However, different communication protocols of equipment often lead to their inability to interact with each other. Taking Guoneng Shendong Coal Group (hereinafter referred to as "Guoneng Shendong") as an example, the production control system alone involves more than 10 types of operating systems from more than 1370 suppliers and more than 500 communication protocols that need to be adapted.
"The operating system involves more than 10 kinds. The problem is that the middle needs to be converted. Shendong, as a coordinator, calls all manufacturers together to make agreements, because everyone insists on using their own agreements, which brings us great difficulties." He Haitao, deputy general manager of Guoneng Shendong Coal Group, said in an interview with reporters earlier.
To this end, Huawei and the national energy group launched the kuanghong operating system on September 14, 2021.
Guoneng Shendong is the backbone coal production enterprise of the national energy group and the first 200 million ton coal production base in China. It is called "super coal mine" in the industry, and Kuang Hong is the first operating system with independent intellectual property rights in China's coal industry.
In Huawei's view, one of the most direct changes brought by Kuang Hong to the coal mine is the change of data management mode. After unifying the language for the equipment, the data exchange between equipment has become a possibility.
In March this year, in a underground trough centralized control room in Guoneng Shendong, the shearer driver gently pushed the operating rod, and the shearer 150 meters away immediately cut coal automatically according to the instruction, which means that the test version of the shearer's operating system suitable for Kuang Hong in Guoneng Shendong's fully mechanized mining face has been successful.
In the latest data, Kuang Hong has been applied to 57 types of equipment in Guoneng Shendong. Some fixed manual posts such as underground water pump room, central substation and basic electric chamber have been gradually handed over to cameras and sensors, and the dialogue between equipment has been unified into "Mandarin".
A person in charge who participated in the adaptation work of "Kuang Hong" told reporters, "the equipment knows each other, and the robot collects the data on a trip. In the future, miners wear suits and ties to mine coal is not just a dream."
Core of Legion mode: short chain operation
Whether in the field of industrial manufacturing or intelligent equipment, operating system has become the focus of global science and technology competition. At the same time, the operating system is also an important part of the national "nuclear high-tech" major science and technology projects.
However, for the coal mining corps, the mining Hong operating system is only a "small part" of Huawei's wealth. Another significance of the establishment of the Corps is to directly reward customers' needs to various product lines at the back end through the "short chain", even in front of the 2012 laboratory and various talented teenagers.
"For example, the customer said that the underground camera is easy to get dirty. Due to a lot of ash underground, if you want to keep the mirror clean, you have to clean the lens every three days. The process is very troublesome and increases the underground workload of workers. After receiving this demand, we immediately offered a reward internally. It was found that someone in the 2012 laboratory was really studying this three non stick film." Guo Zhenxing told reporters that in the underground experiment of the coal mine, it can be seen clearly that the film is not clean for 49 days. However, before the coal mine Corps put forward this demand, the technology in the 2012 laboratory has been done for six years. Before it was put into production, these scientific and technical personnel did not know that this product could have such a great demand in the coal mine industry.
Guo Zhenxing believes that although the 2012 laboratory does not belong to the Legion organization, under the Legion mode, these "babies" scattered in all corners of Huawei's home have the opportunity to be applied to the industry faster. "At present, the product prototype of this film has been made, and the production time will not be too long. Huawei has more than 100000 scientific research talents, and the technical achievements of many talented teenagers have been applied to the coal mine scene."
In an internal speech in August last year, Ren Zhengfei, founder of Huawei, once said, "several talented teenagers have joined the coal mine corps and used 5g in reverse to make the underground video more HD."
"Huawei welcomes scientists and attaches importance to talented teenagers. Now we just want to work harder and find opportunities to survive. Coal mines are opportunities." In Ren Zhengfei's view, Huawei can help the coal industry carry out digital and intelligent transformation through the combination of ICT technology and coal mining technology, so as to realize the production mode of "safe, few people, no one and high efficiency".
From the perspective of policy and market, the pace of promoting the construction of intelligent mines is also accelerating.
In February 2020, the national development and Reform Commission, the energy administration, the Ministry of emergency response, the coal regulatory bureau, the Ministry of industry and information technology, the Ministry of finance, the Ministry of science and technology and the Ministry of Education jointly issued the guiding opinions on accelerating the intelligent development of coal mines, and put forward the three-stage goal of intelligent construction of coal mines, that is, to build intelligent demonstration coal mines of various types and modes by 2021, and basically realize the intellectualization of large coal mines and coal mines with serious disasters by 2025, By 2035, all kinds of coal mines will be basically intelligent.
In June 2021, the national energy administration and the National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau jointly issued the guidelines for intelligent construction of coal mines (2021 version), which proposed to accelerate the deep integration of new generation information technology and coal industry, promote the transformation and upgrading of high-end, intelligent and green coal industry, and promote the high-quality development of coal industry.
The two heavyweight documents point to the same important development direction of the coal mining industry: intelligence.
According to the latest data from the national energy administration, more than 70% of the country's first demonstration coal mines will be completed by the end of the year. It is expected that the construction will be completed by the end of 2023, driving nearly 400 coal mines across the country to carry out intelligent upgrading and transformation. The total investment scale exceeds 100 billion yuan, and the investment completion rate is nearly 50%. 813 intelligent mining faces have been built in 2021.
"Judging from the current development, Huawei has carried out comprehensive cooperation with the national top coal and non coal mining enterprises. However, Huawei does not look at an industry or track according to the dimension of a few years. I believe there will be earth shaking changes in the next 20 or 30 years."
