Recently, Jez Corden, editor of windows central, revealed in his podcast that Blizzard has developed a new 3A survival game for nearly five years, code named "Odyssey". Previously, Blizzard revealed through a job advertisement that they were developing a 3A survival game with a new universe as the background.
Although the job advertisement suggests that the new survival game is still in the early stage of development, it seems that there is a playable version of the game. Studio owner Mike Ybarra said he and the development team have played it for hours.
Previously, according to foreign media reports, all informed current and former Blizzard employees expressed their excitement about the game and the team behind it. Even the most outspoken critics of Activision Blizzard praised the project.
