ITunes 12.12.4 Release On Windows: Fix 5 Security Vulnerabilities

ITunes for windows was updated today to fix several security vulnerabilities in WebKit and mobile device service. iTunes 12.12.4 Contains at least five fixes for Apple's underlying software security vulnerabilities. Users can download the update from the Microsoft store or the Apple website.

ITunes 12.12.4 specifically fixes a problem in applegraphicscontrol that may lead to arbitrary code execution, fixes a problem in imageio that may lead to unexpected application termination, and a vulnerability in iTunes that may allow an attacker to elevate his privileges.

A problem with mobile device service may allow an attacker to delete files without the necessary permissions, while a flaw in WebKit may allow the execution of arbitrary code through maliciously crafted web content. These two defects have also been repaired.
