Now musk is one step closer to achieving this goal. On May 19, Tesla submitted a document on Tesla's restaurant to Los Angeles, which will be located at 7001 Santa Monica street in Hollywood and open 24 hours a day.
The US electric vehicle website electek first reported the news. It is reported that the 9300 square foot restaurant includes a car cinema and a 28 compartment super charging station. The building plan shows that this is a two-story restaurant with more than 200 seats indoors and outdoors. Outdoor seats can directly see two tall led movie screens. Food can also be delivered directly to the guest's car.
About a year ago, Tesla filed an application with the U.S. patent and Trademark Office to register a "t" logo for a range of restaurant concepts, from self-service to takeout. Although the location of Tesla restaurant is reported to be located in Santa Monica, there is no brand catering choice for a super charging station opened by Tesla there in February.
Tesla did not provide more details about the opening date or menu of the restaurant, nor did it respond to requests for comment.
Tesla's plan to open a super charging station restaurant in Hollywood must first be approved by the Los Angeles city government. It is reported that the design of the restaurant will be futuristic. Musk announced in February that the restaurant will accept dog money payment.
