On the afternoon of May 17, Beijing time, Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted today that the transaction could not be promoted unless twitter proved that the false account was less than 5%. He believes that if Twitter's statement is correct, external verification should be welcomed.
Musk also said that Twitter has 20% of false or spam accounts, four times what twitter claims, and the proportion may be "much higher" than 20%. But twitter CEO yesterday publicly refused to provide evidence that false accounts accounted for less than 5%.
