Sega announced their next Mini console, Mega Drive Mini 2, which is based on Mega Drive 2 and will include 50 Mega Drive and mega CD games, including arcade transplant works and "mysterious new works" Mega Drive Mini 2 will be launched in Japan on October 27 at a price of 9980 yen. Sega has not yet announced whether it will be sold in Europe and the United States.
