The movie star wars directed by Taika waititi, director of Thor 3 and Thor 4, is expected to be released at the end of 2023. In an interview with total film, Kathleen Kennedy, President of Lucas pictures, was asked whether the waititi project would be the next Star Wars film to be released and whether it would be released next year.

In response, Kennedy replied: "yes, well, it's not 2023, but the end of 2023. We haven't set a time yet."
The details of the film are so few that the authorities have not even announced the name, plot outline and position in the Star Wars movie universe. Waititi mentioned last August that his Star Wars movie story would fit his own style.
Last weekend's Star Wars Celebration lacked news about movies. Instead, it announced a number of TV dramas and animation news. There is also a related game, Star Wars Jedi: survivors, which is open to the public.
