According to the above search website, Liang Rubo's appointment date is July 23, 2021 and registered with a Chinese passport. Mo Zhaoqi's appointment date on the above search website is May 6, 2022. He is registered with a Hong Kong passport and is suspected to be a legal person of the company. Zhang Peng's appointment date on the above search website is May 6, 2022, and he is registered with a Hong Kong passport. According to the information on the industrial and commercial registration website, Zhang Peng served as the shareholder and supervisor of Tianjin Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd., with a shareholding ratio of 20%.

According to the national enterprise credit information publicity system, several other companies under byte beat have also changed their names to "Tiktok". In May, 2022, bytewo Co., Ltd. was renamed as Tiktok Co., Ltd. all the shares of the company have been pledged to Beijing bytewo Network Technology Co., Ltd. by Zhang Lidong and Zhang Yiming. Beijing bytehop Network Technology Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the above-mentioned Tiktok group (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd.
