iPhone 14 likely to support always on display

Last year's iPhone 13 Pro was the first Apple model to support the 120Hz ProMotion display. It's been revealed that both iPhone 14 Pro models will continue to feature this technology and may have greater refresh rate variability.

Display analyst Ross Young says he expects ProMotion to go down to 1Hz on the iPhone 14 Pro series, a technology that could support longer battery life or always on display in the future.

However, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg also said last year that the iPhone 13 would have a similar feature, but that didn't happen.

At this point, there's still no particularly credible information that the iPhone 14 Pro will bring always on display. (MacRumors)
