Blizzard has been in trouble in recent years. Recently, Blizzard faced another class action lawsuit because its game "Legend of hearthstone" was suspected of inducing minors to draw cards. A parent in Arizona said his daughter spent more than $300 on card bags and used her father's bound credit card without permission. The lawyer said that the child had no way to know the probability of a good card, did not know that the transaction could not be refunded, and even claimed that "she hardly issued any valuable cards".

According to foreign media polygon, earlier this month, Nathan Harris of Arizona proposed a class action lawsuit in the State High Court of Orange County, California. The representative said that Blizzard hearthstone game used "illegal, deceptive and misleading" means to make minors consume and use real money to buy game card bags similar to gambling. Many audiences are children, and their consumption behavior is also non refundable.

In court documents, Harris fiercely attacked blizzard, saying that the probability of drawing strong cards from these card bags is very low, but the official did not disclose this, resulting in players often spending a lot of money for a good card. In most cases, the cards players get are worthless.

Harris's daughter spent more than $300 on hearthstone from 2019 to 2021. The money was spent on his credit and debit cards without his permission. He hopes to get the money back.

Harris and his legal team asked the court to grant class action status to the case so that more parents and minors can receive compensation. Blizzard officials also responded to the lawsuit, hoping to transfer the case from the State High Court in Orange County, California to the U.S. Federal District Court in central California.

Blizzard lawyers said that hearthstone has accumulated more than $1 billion in revenue since its launch in 2014, which represents a large and complete ethnic group, and they can't confirm whether any children bought card bags without their parents' permission. Although Blizzard does not agree with the lawsuit, and this class action lawsuit may cause them to face losses of more than $5 million, blizzard must prove this claim before it can transfer the case to a new court.
